Over the coming years through the town’s regeneration programme, the Community Trust will become responsible for the management and control of key community assets; safe-guarding community buildings for the future and reinvesting profits to create long term economic, social and environmental benefits.
The Community Trust has now moved into its new home at Mustangs, the former Corporal’s Mess on Budds Lane, opposite Bordon Infant School. We are working to develop this building for the community and are keen to hear from local people about what facilities and services we could provide here. Please get in touch and help to shape the plans for the space.
The building is open to the public Monday – Friday 9.30am – 4pm and is available for hire and for regular meetings and groups. There is a large community hall with capacity for 125 seated and 150 standing, as well as the cafe space and two small meeting rooms.
Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust will be taking on the management and delivery of the Hogmoor Community Buildings at the Hogmoor Inclosure with a view to opening the facilities in late Spring 2019.
We will operate these buildings on behalf of the community, providing a Community Café, an Education/Outdoor Learning Space, public toilets (including the town’s first changing places facility), and a community garden for local residents and their families to grow food.
