In March 2016, Whitehill & Bordon was selected as one of 10 NHS England Healthy New Town demonstrator sites across the country. The Community Trust are working with the team to promote Whitehill & Bordon as a place to live which is healthy & active.
We support their vision for Whitehill & Bordon and are currently working with the Healthy New Town team at East Hants District Council on:
Exploring ways to create playful and interactive journeys across the town, taking into consideration accessibility and enjoyment of our built and natural environment.
In March this year, the Community Trust opened a Community Garden in the grounds surrounding Mustangs, with the support of a grant from Councillor Adam Carew and donations from local groups and individuals. For more information about how to get involved, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
